Vice President-to-be Harris Vaccinated Against Corona

The upcoming American vice president Kamala Harris has had himself vaccinated against the coronavirus on Tuesday on live television.

She received the Moderna vaccine at the United Medical Center in Washington. Her husband, Doug Emhoff, also got an injection. “That was easy,” said Harris when she had received the injection.

“I want to inspire everyone to get the vaccine,” said the 56-year-old. “Literally, this is about saving lives. I trust science, and it’s the scientists who made and approved this vaccine.”

President-elect Joe Biden and current Vice President Mike Pence previously received doses of the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine, the first to be circulated in the US.

President Trump himself says it is not yet his turn to be vaccinated. He was infected with the coronavirus in October.
