The Stock Market in Japan Closed Again Higher on Tuesday

The stock market in Japan closed again higher on Tuesday, reaching its highest level in more than three months.

Hopes that the global economy will gradually recover from the easing of corona measures in many countries continued to support sentiment.

Investors also took advantage of the higher closing positions on Wall Street thanks to encouraging figures for the American industry.

The leading Nikkei in Tokyo ended with a 1.2 percent profit at 22,325.61 points. That is the highest level since February 26.

Since the trough of the corona crisis on March 16, the Japanese main index has risen by about 36 percent.

Industrial companies and telecom groups were particularly popular due to hopes of a recovery in domestic and international economic activity.
